This time totally different for me. Last minute change of hospital from KL to Melaka. My husband get new job and need to undergo 4 month training at INSTEP Terengganu. Life that time totally make me so miserable as my due almost come and no one around me in case anything happen.
Bless to ALLAH SWT as my FIL and MIL try so hard to take care and accompany us (Haziq & me) at our house and travelling everyday from Cheras - Kepong which is approximately takes about 20 minutes (if don't stuck in traffic jam especially in Jalan Kuching) and more than 30 minutes when stuck in traffic jam.
Finally, I decided to move temporary to Melaka and stay with my parents as my sister at that time also waiting for her due in June 2012. Change from Hospital Tawakal Kg Baru to Mahkota Medical Center, Melaka. I meet the O&G in MMC onky twice before I delivered.
On 10 July 2012, I wake up at 5 am and can't sleep. I feel so painful as if period pain. But I just ignored and continue to sleep. That morning, after take a bath, I told my mother about it and since no other signed of labour, I ignored it. Again 1 pm the pain come and the sign of show. I called my brother and he sent me to MMC. Before that I call my O&G doctor, Dr Ahmad Saifuddin and he ask me to come to hospital immediately.
He checked and tell me that the time is come. It already 4 cm.He directly instruct nurse to send me to labour room and told me that maybe around 6 pm and above I will delivered to baby. Before that I called my husband and he shock about that. The journey from Kuala Terengganu - Melaka takes about 7 hours and I know that he unable to make it on time.
Admitted around 3 pm and my legs shaking because afraid. This time without my husband because previously he accompany me when I deliver Haziq in GH. The nurse put the CTG on my tummy and I feel and hear the baby heart beat. Dr Ahmad come and check again on me. He break my water as attempt to faster the process and notice the amniotic fluid containing meconium (the baby's first stools). He told me there will 2 options. They drip the pitocin to faster the labour process and delivered the baby and if no effect, he will send me for c-section.
They put the mask on my face to give oxygen to the baby and ask me to push. The nurse ask me to push few times to make the baby move lower since the position is long way to go. I lost my energy because of it and try my best since I really afraid of c-section after heard a lot of stories about that.The 3 nurses help me to calm and ask me to selawat and mengucap.
Alhamdullilah, he come out and the doc immediately bring him to nursery because he swallowed his own meconium.
The 2nd people who see him is my BIL, my elder sister, my mother, my mother and also Haziq.
My husband become to last person to saw him during that day. He arrived at hospital at 11 pm and takes the baby from nursery to me.
